Office relocation tips

Signs It’s Time for a New IT Provider

Slow Response Times

Waiting hours or days while your team sits idle.

Recurring Issues

The same problems keep coming back.

Security Concerns

No clear picture of whether your data is protected.

Surprise Costs

Unexpected invoices and spending you can’t predict.

Our Transition Process

2

Proposal & Plan

3

Onboarding Questionnaire

We gather details on your users, devices, network, vendors and software, with no passwords involved.

4

Secure Credential Handoff

Admin credentials are shared securely through IT Glue, our encrypted documentation platform, never by email.

5

Coordinated Transition

We work directly with your outgoing provider to collect documentation and access, with no gaps in support.

6

Go-Live

Monitoring and security tools are deployed, your team gets help desk access, and support begins.

How long does it take? Every transition is planned around your timeline and the size of your environment. You’ll get a clear schedule in your proposal before anything changes.

Your Outgoing Provider

We Handle the Handoff

You shouldn’t have to referee between IT companies. With your authorization, TCI coordinates directly and professionally with your current provider to collect what’s needed for a clean transition:

  • ✓Network and system documentation
  • ✓Admin access to servers, firewalls and Microsoft 365
  • ✓Domain, DNS and website hosting access
  • ✓Software licenses and vendor contacts
  • ✓Backup status and recovery information
  • ✓A coordinated cutover date

Your accounts, data and systems belong to your business. If anything is missing, we help you recover access through your vendors.

Our Commitment to You

Onboarding Fees Waived With a One-Year Agreement

We’re not looking for a quick sale. We want to build a long-term relationship and become part of your team, and that starts with onboarding. Think of it like bringing dessert when you’re invited to someone’s home: it’s our way of starting the relationship right. That’s why we waive onboarding fees on agreements of one year or longer, no matter the size of your business.

Common Questions

Should we cancel our current provider first?

Check your current contract’s notice period. We can usually begin the assessment and onboarding while your notice period runs, so there’s no gap in coverage.

Will there be downtime during the switch?

The transition is planned to avoid disruption. Most work happens behind the scenes, and any changes that affect users are scheduled in advance.

What if our current provider won’t cooperate?

It happens. Your accounts and data belong to your business, and we work with you and your vendors to recover any access that isn’t handed over.

Are there onboarding fees?

Onboarding costs depend on the size of your environment, your timeline and your contract term. With an agreement of one year or longer, we waive onboarding fees entirely, no matter your size.
